Fri April 25th, Baobab Supports AIDS Race
 
Hey there, my Friend katie is trying to get sponsors for The Aids Lifecycle.  "Bien Sur" as a strong believer of the community work, Baobab is trying to help one more time with a big smile.
So on Friday, as usual at the Little Baobab, I will be spinning with my friend Nado,KALW 91.7 FM our "Paris-Dakar" flavorful african beats. cie.after 10pm!!!
 
So even if you feel old and tired it's OK, we will rock the tree Baobab. And half of the proceeds of the night will go to the Aids' race. Bring your best energy and smile and let's do it together
 
Katie is riding her bike from San Francisco to LA to raise money for people living with HIV/AIDS. she started training for the ride 3 months ago and now am trying to raise $2500 - she is at $1200 and need major help! (most of my friends are grad students and poor...which makes it extra challenging to raise this much money. Not to mention it's hard to be a shameless fundraiser around people that have been eating canned beans for three years) You can donate on her website - it's really easy (the money goes right to the organization and it's tax deductible)...any little bit helps, no matter how small. http://www.aidslifecycle.org/6727
